Follow-up #2 (19 weeks)

Appointment #2 - November 14th

Another scan - this time closer to home in the hospital that my clinic and doctor are in.
Everything went great once again. All organs look normal and are developing the way they should be. The tech was really nice and explained everything she was looking at as she was bringing it up on screen. She confirmed and showed us that the baby was a girl (which didn't need to be confirmed but Kevin had asked for confirmation).

"See this?" the tech asks as she points to a dark spot on the screen.
I nod.
"That's your bladder," she says. She then moves the wand a little bit and the bottom of my baby's feet appear on screen. As if on cue the baby does a small dance directly on my bladder.

Ah yes, that is why I've had to suddenly pee so many times throughout the day.  :)

2nd trimester is proving to be a lot easier than the first. The first involved a lot of being sick and lack of appetite. First trimester involved so much worry and angst and 2nd is gifting me with the ability to relax and enjoy the fact that there is life growing inside of me.
